Wild Heart was built around a simple belief: dogs have an extraordinary ability to bring people together.
You don't have to adopt a dog to be part of their story. You don't have to foster to make a difference. Sometimes it starts by showing up to an event, taking a rescue dog on an adventure, lending your skills, supporting a local partner, speaking up for animals, or simply meeting people who care about the same things you do.
Wild Heart Community is where those connections happen.
It's the people side of our mission, a growing community of dog lovers, volunteers, advocates, businesses, families, and friends coming together to create better lives for dogs and a little more connection between the humans who love them.

Wild Heart Adventures
Not ready to adopt or foster but still wish you could spend a little time with a rescue dog?
That's exactly why Wild Heart Adventures exists.
This program creates opportunities for participants to take dogs out for enrichment, exploration, and some much-deserved fun—while giving our dogs valuable experiences beyond their everyday environment.
Your time and talents can change a dog's story.
GET INVOLVED
Wild Heart is being built by people willing to contribute what they can.
For some, that's a few hours at an event. For others, it's professional expertise, photography, transportation, research, outreach, advocacy, creative work, or simply being willing to lend another pair of hands when they're needed.
You don't need an animal-welfare résumé to matter here.
You just need something you're willing to contribute.

Wild Heart doesn't believe meaningful animal welfare happens in isolation.
Local businesses, rescue organizations, veterinary professionals, community groups, educators, creatives, sponsors, and other organizations can all play a role in creating stronger support systems for dogs and the people caring for them.
Some partnerships begin with an event.
Others begin with donated supplies, professional expertise, sponsorship, shared resources, or simply asking:
