Donor Champions

Some people give to a mission. Others help carry it forward.

A Donor Champion has demonstrated exceptional significance to Wild Heart through one or more of the following:

  • Significant financial support relative to Wild Heart's stage of development.

  • Sustained giving over time.

  • Support across multiple forms of giving.

  • A contribution that directly enabled an important rescue, program, project or organizational milestone.

  • Meaningful early support when Wild Heart had fewer resources and greater need.

  • Extraordinary in-kind contributions or donated assets/services.

Tom Sabatella & Family

DONOR CHAMPION

Tom Sabatella and his family have stood behind Wild Heart with remarkable consistency during our formative years, supporting the mission in multiple ways and answering the call whenever opportunities to help have arisen.

Their generosity has crossed more than one area of our work, reflecting something we value deeply: not simply giving once, but choosing to remain part of the journey.

Their early belief, continued generosity, and willingness to support Wild Heart in whatever way they can have helped strengthen the foundation we're building for the dogs and communities we hope to serve for years to come.

The Home Depot - St. Cloud

DONOR CHAMPION

The Home Depot became one of Wild Heart's early community supporters at a time when every new resource helped us take another step forward. Their willingness to invest in our work provided more than materials, it gave a young organization additional capacity to care for dogs, strengthen our operations, and continue building toward what Wild Heart can become.

What makes their support especially meaningful is that it came during our formative years, when belief from established members of the community carries tremendous weight.

We are grateful to our local Home Depot team for choosing to see value in what we're building and for putting tangible support behind that belief. Their generosity has become part of Wild Heart's early story, and part of the foundation upon which our future work will stand.

Walmart - St. Cloud

DONOR CHAMPION

Our local Walmart became an important early supporter of Wild Heart by choosing to invest in our mission while we were still laying the groundwork for everything we hope to accomplish.

Their support provided meaningful resources for the dogs in our care while also representing something especially valuable to a growing organization: recognition from an established member of our local community that the work we're doing is worth supporting.

Early backing like this helps turn plans into action. It strengthens our ability to respond to the needs in front of us today while continuing to build the programs, relationships, and infrastructure that will allow Wild Heart to make a greater impact tomorrow.

We are grateful to our local Walmart team for believing in that potential and for choosing to become part of Wild Heart's story so early in the journey.

The Russell & Collier Families

DONOR CHAMPION

The Russell & Collier families have been part of Wild Heart's growth in a way that extends far beyond any single contribution. Their generosity, encouragement, and willingness to step forward have helped us turn ideas into action and create better experiences for the dogs entrusted to our care.

Throughout our formative years, they have found different ways to support the mission, giving not only resources but their time, energy, and belief in what Wild Heart is working to become.

There is something particularly meaningful about supporters who don't simply answer one call for help, but continue looking for ways to make a difference. The Russell & Collier families have done exactly that, becoming part of the network of people helping us build Wild Heart from the ground up.

We are deeply grateful for their continued generosity and for choosing, time and again, to help us create something better for the dogs and communities we serve.

Emma Geyer

DONOR CHAMPION

Emma Geyer has become one of those people whose generosity has quietly touched Wild Heart in more ways than we could easily count.

Throughout our growth, she has consistently made herself available, offering her support freely and finding ways to help whenever an opportunity presented itself. Her willingness to share what she can, give of her time, and remain invested in our progress has made her an invaluable part of our journey.

The people who help build an organization aren't always the ones whose contributions are easiest to see. Sometimes they are the ones behind the scenes who continue showing up, strengthening what is being built simply because they believe it is worth building.

We are incredibly grateful that Emma has chosen to be one of those people for Wild Heart, and for the many ways her generosity continues to leave its mark on who we are becoming.

University of Florida Veterinarian Hospital

DONOR CHAMPION

The University of Florida Veterinarian Hospital has shown Wild Heart an extraordinary level of compassion, professionalism, and generosity during an important chapter in our early journey.

Their support has extended well beyond what we could have expected, with members of their team repeatedly demonstrating a willingness to help, guide, accommodate, and stand beside us when it mattered most.

What has stayed with us is not simply the exceptional level of their professional expertise, but the humanity behind it. Their team has treated our mission with genuine care and has shown us what it looks like when people choose to give more of themselves than their role requires.

We are incredibly grateful for their belief in the work we're doing and for the kindness they have shown Wild Heart along the way. Their impact on our organization will remain part of our story long after this particular chapter has passed.

Richard Lichter Charity for Dogs

DONOR CHAMPION

The Richard Lichter Charity for Dogs came into Wild Heart’s journey at a moment when meaningful support could make an immediate and lasting difference in the life of a dog in our care.

Their generosity gave us the ability to move forward with confidence when significant medical needs arose, allowing our attention to remain where it belonged: on giving a deserving dog the care, recovery, and future he needed.

For a growing rescue, having an organization willing to step forward during moments like these means more than financial assistance. It means knowing that when the needs of a dog exceed what we can accomplish alone, there are others within the rescue community willing to stand beside us.

We are deeply grateful to the Richard Lichter Charity for Dogs for believing in the value of that life, supporting the work of Wild Heart, and helping make another second chance possible.

Their names are here not because of what they gave, but because of what their giving made possible.
