OUR PROGRAMS
Different Needs. One Mission.
Saving a dog rarely comes down to one moment.
Sometimes they need somewhere safe to stay. Sometimes they need transportation, veterinary care, training, supplies, or simply the right people willing to work together.
Wild Heart Foundation's programs are designed to meet those needs at different points in a dog's journey, helping remove the barriers that stand between uncertainty and safety.

EVEREST FOSTER PROGRAM
A safe place between rescue and what's next.
Everest helps provide temporary foster homes for dogs who need somewhere safe to land while their next chapter takes shape.
READY FOR HOME FUND
Helping dogs become ready for what comes next.
Veterinary care, behavioral support, training, and other essential needs can stand between rescue and a successful placement. Ready For Home helps bridge that gap.
ROADS TO REFUGE
Because sometimes the road to safety is quite literally a road.
Transportation can determine whether a dog reaches a foster, rescue partner, veterinary appointment, or safe placement. Roads to Refuge helps make those connections possible.
OPEN PAW ALLIANCE
Animal welfare works better when we work together.
Open Paw connects businesses, organizations, rescues, sanctuaries, and individuals around shared resources and collaborative support for dogs in need.
A dog may enter Wild Heart needing transportation.
Another may need a foster home.
Another may already be safe but need veterinary care or training before they're ready for placement.
And sometimes the greatest need isn't something one organization can solve alone.
That's why these programs exist—not as separate projects, but as different tools working toward the same outcome:
More dogs reaching safety. More dogs getting what they need. More dogs finding where they belong.
