Arlo has a playful side and loves carrying toys around proudly.
Arlo came to Wild Heart Haven through a collaborative rescue effort involving advocates, transport coordination, rescue partners, and temporary placement support. all working together to get her safely into her next chapter.
Right now, our focus is giving Arlo the stability, patience, and support she deserves while we continue learning more about her personality, needs, and long-term placement potential.

Since arriving into care, Arlo has already shown herself to be:
incredibly smart
eager to learn
affectionate and playful
She travels well, adapts quickly to new environments, and has been showing strong signs of intelligence and responsiveness during decompression.
Arlo’s story is a reminder of what’s possible when people work together for a dog in need, and we’re excited to continue watching her personality unfold.
The Ideal Home:
Arlo appears to do well around male dogs and enjoys social interaction, though she seems more selective and cautious around other female dogs at this stage.
As she continues settling in, we’ll keep learning more about her comfort levels, personality, and long-term needs.
Right now, our focus is giving her stability, structure, and the opportunity to continue building confidence at her own pace.
