Every great journey starts with a stop at the Trading Post. Ours will be filled with mission-driven goods that fuel rescues and adventure. Mark your trail and come back soon.
Midnight Outpost vs. Trading Post
🌙 Midnight Outpost
Higher priced, zero profit. Every dollar here goes straight into urgent, life-or-death rescue missions.
🍂 The Trading Post
Lower priced, seasonal goods. This shop runs on profit to help sustain Wild Heart Haven through everyday trade.
The Trading Post returns Oct 5 — gather what you need before Nov 23.
-
The Trading Post is Wild Heart Haven’s seasonal mercantile, a limited-time shop filled with goods that carry the spirit of the season and directly support life-saving rescue work.
-
This fall season, the Trading Post is open October 5 – November 23. After that, the shop closes and won’t return until the next seasonal drop.
-
Because the Trading Post is meant for everyday trading, affordable, seasonal goods you can enjoy or gift while still supporting the sanctuary. Unlike the Midnight Outpost, which operates without profit to fund emergency rescues, the Trading Post does run on profit. But every purchase here still fuels our bigger mission by helping sustain Wild Heart Haven.
-
The Trading Post ships in batches, not daily. This helps us keep prices lower and honor the seasonal nature of the shop. If you order early in the season, your items may go out with our mid-season shipment (around October 31st). All remaining orders will ship together once the shop closes on November 23rd.
Think of it as waiting for the caravan to return, your goods arrive in waves, and every shipment is part of the seasonal tradition.
-
Maybe, maybe not. Each Trading Post season has its own style and theme, so once the season closes, these goods may be gone for good.
-
Every item you pick up from the Trading Post helps sustain Wild Heart Haven. Profits from this shop go toward keeping our sanctuary strong, feeding and caring for the dogs who call WHH home, maintaining our land and facilities, and making sure we can keep building a safe haven for more rescues. It’s everyday trade that fuels an extraordinary mission.
